“When I saw Viki’s advert on a notice board a couple of years ago I thought I might give Pilates a try now that my little boy was full days at school. I am so glad I made that call because now I am a real Pilates convert!

I had tried a couple of classes at my gym a few years earlier but never really felt like I was benefiting. The classes were so large that if you weren’t at the front you just sort of ended up doing your own thing. This is where Viki really comes into her own. I wanted a couple of one to one sessions so that I could get the basic positions correct and we could talk through any body niggles that I had before I joined the group. However, the class is brilliant because Viki limits the numbers so that she can make sure everyone is getting the maximum effect from the session.

You can also appreciate that Viki is a real Pilates specialist as she explains very clearly what is happening in the body, which muscle groups are being worked and why they are so important to maintain strength and posture. As well as being fun, it also feels like a very safe environment as Viki will always give a number of different exercise options to try depending on how strong your body is feeling that day, or if you are carrying any injuries.

Since doing Pilates with Viki I can really notice a difference in my posture and core strength on a day to day basis and I firmly believe that Viki’s sessions really helped me avoid getting any injuries when I did my first ( and only) marathon last year. Thanks again Viki.”
