I am a Body Control Pilates Instructor in Twickenham and the surrounding areas who is also passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, having lots of fun, and helping others to become fit and healthy!

Body Control Pilates is the most advanced and beneficial form of Pilates and is one of the fastest growing types of exercise in the world. It was developed by Joseph Pilates, who specialised in rehabilitation.

My first introduction to Pilates came after an accumulation of shoulder and back issues. Having tried various other exercises and treatments over a period of two years I came across Body Control Pilates, and there was an almost instant and permanent improvement. As a result of using Pilates I feel like I have brand new body, I have longer and leaner muscles, and my spine length has increased so that I am now one
centimeter taller. I have also eliminated my varicose veins. For this reason I specialise in improving my clients posture.

Pilates has not only enabled me improve my overall health but it has also enabled me to reach more advanced levels in sports such as skiing and swimming.

What I liked the most about Pilates is the fact that small focused movements are very effective and everyone can do these.

Quite often with Pilates*“less is more.”* A few well designed movements properly performed in the correct sequence are worth hours of conventional exercise or forced contortions. I believe Pilates to be the safest way of exercising.

As a result of the tremendous effect Pilates had on my life I decided in 2007 to train as a Pilates Instructor with the Body Control Pilates Association, Europe’s leading professional Pilates organisation. I now work with clients in small groups, and on a 1 to 1 in South West London. All my classes are enjoyable and really good fun.

I view continuing professional development as essential, and regularly attend trainings to enable me to keep up to date with the very latest developments in teaching allowing me to bring the very best to my clients.
